LMAOOOOO  real asf. the guy playing him only adds on to my irritation lowk bc literally NO ONE on the cast looks even remotely close to how i imagined them EXCEPT for dean. like, istg they shook the book and his actor fell out, & the fact that my least favorite character got easily the best casting in the show makes me borderline homocidal like are we fr rn

i read the books back in like 2020-2021 and i just could not stand him. like, he was genuinely so insufferable and rude and it felt like he never actually changed throughout the books/he just got away with everything. if elle kennedy wasnt a lesbophobic weirdo, id consider rereading the books to see if my opinion's changed. granted, the show is doing him a lot of favors/ making him way more likable, like i said, but i will always remember how irritating he was Imao
