ok so i got 10k reads on my oneshots book (which was my goal so yay!!) but literally a couple of hours later all that mess with benjey started so i'm unpublishing it. what they did is absolutely disgusting, thank god i left the fandom a while ago BUT i still don't understand why benji is getting more hate than jorge???? from his "apology" it seems like jorge should be the one getting more hate. anyways. they're gross, stan harry styles for clear skin ✨

i was trying to focus on school so i left this app for a while, but at the end i just went back to fanfics, but this time on ao3 instead of wattpad. whoops?
anyways, now i have a ton of notifications and i'm extremely overwhelmed by them, so i probably won't be using this app again for a while.
maybe one day i'll finish my oneshots.
or maybe i could start a new book??? because i've been reading so much harry potter that my brain refuses to think about anything else and it'd be good to channel those thoughts and put them to a good use.

as soon as i join a fandom, there's suddenly drama about them saying the n word or dating drama or the fans are toxic.
like why can't y'all just live in peace????
it's not that hard to NOT say the n word if you're white.
it's not that hard to announce your relationship instead of beating around the bush to gain clout.
it's not that hard to be nice to each other instead of putting other fans down because they joined the fandom later.

@adilet- i mean, people actually think that the "lady and the tramp" tiktok wasn't queerbaiting???? and the one where they put up their starbucks cups at the last moment??? they can call it "fanservice" all they want, that won't change the fact that it's clearly queerbaiting. sometimes i just wanna yell at people to make them understand that their faves are not perfect.
every choen story is being discontinued and it makes me sad and mad.
here's my opinion:
i don't think it's the fanfics that make chase uncomfortable, it's the sexual comments he gets on both instagram and twitter (because i've seen a ton of those). i see no harm ir writing fluff (because it's not sexualizing them!!!!) and do i have to remind you IT'S FICTIONAL!! also, i agree with syd, chase was queerbaiting, he was the one who started & fueled the ship. idc if i get hate for this, that's just my opinion ✋

Shipping is a part of every fandom, it’s our little world, the problem are people who push down their throat, not the fanfics. And bless you for calling him out for fuelling the ship: that’s called fanservice and Chase KNEW what he was doing.
