@Xrosline0ox thank you, that’s really sweet of you <3 tbh I don’t even think of myself as a particularly good writer. I’ve always considered myself more of a storyteller, and to me those are two very different things. I’ve always enjoyed creating stories much more than thinking about the technical side of writing.
Since English isn’t your first language, my biggest piece of advice would be to read and write in English as much as possible. Writing is a skill, and like any skill, it gets better with practice. The more you write, the more natural it becomes.
As for unique stories, I think one of the most important things is staying curious. Ask yourself random “what if?” questions and see where they lead. Most of my ideas start that way. What Remains of Us only began because I wondered what would happen if Tom Riddle had a friend at Wool’s Orphanage, and from that one question the entire story slowly grew. I’d also encourage you to actively seek out inspiration. Read, watch things, explore different stories and ideas. You never know what small detail will end up inspiring your next project.
