In water proof colours, my tears were no use
Your love for me, was just too loose
But your lies to me, were a noose
Around my neck, you held me tight
For when the ground when gave way
I wanted to give up the fight
But the hole in my heart has now been replaced
By a different life, he's not the same
My wounds are healing, my heart is safe
For the arms that protect me, you have not defaced.
It was inspired but the book freaks. It hasn't been completed yet but this poem is an indication of where I want it to go.
