I've just came back from being on holiday and I've been cringing this entire time.
I always thought to myself that those kdrama scenes in which one of the lead characters fall asleep on the other's shoulder was unrealistic.
To me, it was like, okay you're sat on a coach together or something, but the seats r big enough to put some space between the two, aren't they?
I have been proven wrong. We ended up having a long layover in the airport for our connecting flight otwb. I was sat down, dozing off because I CANNOT sleep on airplanes.
The seat was quite literally big enough to fit me and my sister in it, and the row of seats were separated by armrests. So WHY did I doze off, only to jolt awake releasing that I'd been leaning towards the guy sat in the seat on my right?
My sister was sat on my other side, so that was alright, but I kept waking up a little dazed and realising I'd been literally too close to leaning on this stranger.
Mortifying, I know.
The worst part is that he just sat there, watching me fall asleep, wake up, move to the left of my seat, and repeat the damn process ༎ຶ‿༎ຶ.
When I finally dragged myself up to get on our flight, I ended up making eye contact while trying to get to my seat in the plane.
So. Awkward. This guy was just like (●__●)
I vow to never fall asleep in an airport again.
