I JUST GOT KNEE HIGH CONVERSE

miiawastaken

hi guys, this is more of a serious post.

ive been homeschooled since the middle of january, and my previous secondary school wasn’t supportive of my disabilities. the SEND department sucked, the people there was horrible, and the staff do not care one bit about any kid.
however, i want to move to a school that all of my friends go to, but i have to be in my previous school to even apply to go there. andddd, i said yes…

my first day back at my old school is on friday (two days from when i’m posting this) and i’m terrified. i have no friends that go there (all my friends i had there were fake and left me as soon as i became homeschooled) and idk what to do.

does anyone have any tips ? i’m scared

@miiawastaken i know this probably isn't gonna be good advice, but here's what i did when i had basically nobody to talk to/hang out with in school and i didn't want to seem too lonely.

            1) when you first get to school, make sure not to get there too early so you aren't just standing there alone or anything. if i were you, i'd get there 5-10 minutes before you have to go to your first class (or whatever you do in the mornings) and be in the bathroom until you actually have to go.

            2) if you line up for lessons, go to the bathroom during the changeover so that you aren't standing alone on the line. when you get on the line, there should already be people there and you can just stand near them or even on your own and you won't look too lonely.

            3) at break/lunch, either go to your school library (if they have one) and get some homework done (or at least pretend to) or go sit in an empty classroom/if a teacher allows you to. one bad way you can get out of seeming alone is purposefully getting a lunchtime detention so you aren't allowed outside anyways.

i don't know if this is at all helpful, but i just wanted to let yk what i did incase you need it! goodluck with everything, hopefully it'll be fine!<3
