Time goes by so fast I didn’t realize that it's been nearly a month since the last chapter drop. I haven't forgotten about dear daisy, in fact it's on my mind 24/7, but I couldn't write much the past weeks due to feeling pretty burned out and sick, and more importantly helping my mom move.
          
          I'm driving back to my place rn and still have a few days left before uni starts again so I'm hoping to finish chapter 22 soon. Thanks for your patience, you guys mean the world to me.

Chances are pretty high I will rename “Of Ashes and Honey“ to “Dear Daisy“ in the future. I had that name in mind when I started the outline of the fic and now I feel like it fits way better. Just so there‘s no confusion x

happy new year my loves!! 2025 was such a rough year for me, and getting back into writing has honestly kind of saved me. It had been about 5 years since I last wrote a fanfiction, so starting oa&h was lowkey terrifying at first. I still can‘t believe people actually enjoy the stuff I write, but I am so incredibly grateful for all the love and funny comments my story has received.

I logged back in and saw we’ve hit 20k reads, wth?? I'm so grateful and blown away by how fast oaah is growing; every comment and feedback has managed to turn even my worst days around.
          
          I know it's been almost a month since the last chapter dropped but I'm not on hiatus or anything, I'm actively writing, I swear!! you guys know I'm a big yapper and the next chapter will be very dialogue-heavy so I'm taking my time with it. please don't give up on me— big things are coming, pinky promise...

          I’m not even halfway done with the story yet, and you’ve all been so sweet and supportive already. It honestly means the world to me, you have no idea. atm I‘m super busy with moving for uni, but i‘m writing whenever I get the chance. chapter 17 will be published around early september fs.

just got to chapter 11 last night (i’m going a bit slow with this </3) but i just wanna come over here & say i love the vibes of the fic so so much. it gives a sort of cozy feeling that i absolutely love — especially the last few chapters with the van. can’t wait to catch up the rest of the way <3
