Dear Readers,
We have finally reached the final page of Calypso’s journey, and I am sitting at my desk with a full heart and a few tears. When I first wrote this story, I never imagined how deeply you all would connect with her.
This story began with a simple, painful question: How many lives must be ruined to forge a "hero"? Together, we watched Calypso refuse to be a tragic extra. We watched her tear out the pages of a destiny that discarded her and fight for her right to simply exist, breathe, and love on her own terms. Writing her battle against the cruel world and an unyielding narrative has been one of the greatest joys of my life.
To my incredible readers: thank you. Thank you for every comment, every vote, every late-night read, and for cheering Calypso on when the world felt too cold. You gave this "extra" a stage, and you gave me the strength to finish her masterpiece. Calypso found her voice, and through your support, I found mine.
Though this specific book has come to an end, the echoes of her melody stay with us. Thank you for walking this bloody, beautiful path to glory with me from the very first reset to this final, hard-won peace.
Until our next story,
The Storyteller ❤️
