Y’all I’m so sickkkk. I’m trying to find the name of an author whose page got deleted I’m assuming. She wrote a book titled “Trying to Maintain” and another book that has a main character named Delontae. I can’t remember the title, but it was literally one of my fav books on here :.(. I swear the books were still up last year.

Hi! Your book is really good. I don’t even know how long I spent reading in one sitting lol. The characters are complex and I really feel like they could real people. Gotta be honest though, I’m taking a break from reading it rn, cause them characters be going through it. I genuinely felt drained from all of the stuff that be happening to them. And then I skipped to the end to read the last chapter after I got to a certain point with cole and dame brother and I seen what happened, I was distraught. That’s really just props to you for creating such authentic characters.

Is it just me or do you guys notice that when black men appear in bwwm books, a lot of them are villains? It’s occurred in several books that I’ve read and really bothers me. You can write a cute bwwm books without purposely demonizing the ONE or few black male characters that you have.

I hate when bwwm books are antiblack, I don’t know if you get what I mean? It makes me so uncomfortable and completely blocks me from finishing the book…
