Quick update on Miles—I have NOT disappeared!
I’ve taken a tiny break on Willing Prey, but it’s temporary and I’m planning to come back to regular updates very soon.
Most of my focus is currently on a project I’m working on “Class of 1033”. It’s planning heavy, which is why it’s hard to focus on both projects at once, but I’m at the stage of planning where I feel confident to start writing it.
The plan is to start posting Class of 1033, and then write Willing Prey simultaneously.
A note on the timeline of the lore—Willing Prey starts in 1007, and Class of 1033—well, i’m sure you get the idea xD in other words, Willing Prey is the prequel, and a lot of characters you know from that one will re-appear here. Especially Ms. Taylor, and Mr. Aldrick. So if you enjoyed those characters, I would definitely recommend reading Class of 1033. You might learn things about the teachers you would never expect, ehe.
As far as spoilers go, obviously, just because there’s such a huge timejump between the two, it’s kinda inevitable. But honestly as the author I would say the potential ‘spoilers’ are miniscule at best. So you’re definitely safe to read both if you want to. Or on the other hand, you can easily read one and not the other. They are not dependent on each other at all. If you read both, you simply get more context.
Twins Fall will be discontinued. Not forever, I do actually want to finish it sometime, but the purpose of that story was to write the origin of a certain character that will play a major role in 1033. In other words, if you get to meet the character organically in the main story, the origin becomes kinda obsolete (you’ll see what I mean by that). For now, it’s still up but will be unpublished once I post 1033. And later maybe revisited.
And that should be it. I’m also slowly returning to r4r’s but please be patient with me! Writing zoomies are winning me over a lot now, and i’m sure my fellow writers can understand that ^^
