@milkdud935 Congrats! I'm glad things went well with you. My only advice is to keep going no matter what. You will always have hurdles, but the end goals are 100% worth it. You got this!

@milkdud935 Awww!! Congrats! Struggle always comes before success/balance! It's like climbing a mountain, though you may find difficulty choosing the tight path or breathing pattern when you reach the top all of those obstacles will be worth it! Only when you reach the top of a mountain is where you find the freshest most crisp air...yet remember you will continue to find challenges that will continue to allow room for growth!! You got this! I believe in you <3333

Thursday really was on of the nicest and happiest day I've had in a long time! Not cause of anyone else but because of ME. I made myself happy. dude it's been so long that I still can't believe and I'm still reminiscing about it.
1st good thing: took an exam for U.S. History and I'm the ONLY ONE out of a school with 2,900+ kids that got a 100% my teacher told me in front of my entire class and the whole class clapped. So yeah that academic validation felt so good im ngl. Went to an interview after-school and the interview fit was sc pretty much nailed that interview. 3rd: WENT TO THE FCKING BOOKSTORE!! Context below as to why it was so exciting i just havent been to a library or bookstore in so long. But yeah it was such a good day and omg i have my first behind-the-wheel diving lesson tmrw!!

@milkdud935 for the interview.. all the things I was worried about before I let go of and just put in my best effort it wasn't perfect but I didn't stop, or chicken out, or dial down my talking points or resume as nervous as I was I did the best of my ability and it was such a good practice so moving foward I can definitely get better. And then I WENT TO A BOOKSTORE for the first time in SOOO long. It's only exciting because I used to be surrounded by libraries in middle school that where everyone hung out to wait for parents since it was right next to the school, freshman year I lived right by one but since I moved I don't have as much access and I don't even go anywhere anymore so I've doing most of my reading online. Which actuslly how I got into WP. And I mean I have books at home but ive read them all. And trust me its alot of books too i could lowk make my own library. and school libraries are atrocious and only good for history books and non fiction biographies, memoirs and history shi. Anyway Ive wanted new material for the longest. And I perfer flipping a page to scrolling to the next page on a screen. And I could've online shopped for books on like Amazon ig but idc what anyone says its not same feeling or expierence. In person whether it's a library or bookstore you can pick up the book look for the sypnosis, read the first chapter, sit in front of the section until you've made a conclusive decision about whether to get it or not. And with libraries you can return it especially if you end up hating. It's just the browsing expierence is top tier and feeling you get when you realize you have impeccable taste when you end up loving the books is just too good. yall don't care but I just had to share

been stressing trying to maintain grades so I can end this quarter off good again. Stressin about driving lessons and getting enough practice hours and learning enough in time to take the test as soon as im eligible come summer(refuse to take it a day later than the exact date where its been a year and i can test.) While also searching for various volunteer opportunities so I can get some Community service hrs this spring break and start working on building my hrs. While simultaneously applying to jobs and filling out excruciating applications. Finally got an interview this week and hoping to land! it's been a minute since I've worked, literally a year ago (if we were still in janurary) any tips??? especially for when they ask- do you have any questions for them. hoping to have one by at least March around this time.. yk summers coming up and I'm so tired of being broke plus gotta start getting rdy for my senior year

@milkdud935 Yay!! I'm so proud of you! I'm glad you did it!:) <3

@Ambeloved4k girl this helped alot. actually ended up taking your advice and fought real hard to come across as confident as possible. No cause I was rlly stressing about school and then good said "here's some good news you can do amazing when you actually put your mind to it" just gotta stop self sabotaging. But this my best academic year so fr proud of myself!

@milkdud935 first things first just keep your anxiety down as much as you can. I've never had a job, but when they teach us about interviews make sure you hide any tattoos, take facial or body piercings out, be early not on time, wear appropriate clothing have hair done neatly. If you'rein Cali and they say somethingabout your hair thats discrimination (we have the crown act). Maybe you could ask them about benefits and training? And don't stress over school usually it depends on your level of participation and credits turned in, if you need help get it, the teachers are paid to help you...idk what else

some people just strive to see the violence evoked from within me. I just spent over 40 minutes RELENTLESSLY SEARCHING MY ENTIRE 2 STORY HOUSE for my phone.Tearing apart my room. Literally got frustrated after the first complete round of looking so maybe the first 10 minutes and im on the verge of tears before I finally just breakdown laying my bedroom floor in tears being so dramatic asking the universe what I I even did to deserve this(I kid you not. these exact words) before forcing myself up resolving to go check one last time downstairs and going up to side of my BLACK FRIDGE and seeing my BLACK phone resting on top all because I left the it on the kitchen counter for a few minutes near my cousin to run an errand rq. THE SAME COUSIN who wasn't even home the entire time during tht search because right after he did that shi he left for church with my aunt
