he looked at me like i was beautiful.
          like i was more than the pain
          l'd endured. i didn't understand why.
          i just knew he made me feel like
          i wasn't alone. i've never met someone
          like him before. his touch feels like
          home and his smile is the purest i've
          ever seen. he makes the darkness inside
          of my heart want to let go. even when
          I'm so lost in fear, i feel sheltered when
          he's there. although I've spent my life
          running from love, he gives me the
          courage to try. i hope he knows he's my
          sky, stars, and universe, i hope he
          knows he's everything that makes the
          world whole.
