So… yeah. That’s my real name. I just had a sudden intrusive thought to do it so I guess I did. Yay

          I’ve just had a talk with my coach and she told me something I think everyone needs to hear. Obviously, I can’t remember it word for word, but here’s what I remember:
          
          “You’re losing your confidence again, but that’s okay. I see the panic in your face whenever you go to shoot, and I know it’s because you are worried you’re going to let everyone down. Listen to me (my name), you’re so much stronger than you think, and I wouldn’t have you playing in the ladies’ team as a (my age) if I didn’t believe you could do it. You are so amazing, and I need you to believe that. The only way you can fail is if you don’t try. I’ve known you for 7 years, and in all that time I haven’t regretted training you. Take a break this week and focus on yourself. Your happiness is more important than anything, and we aren’t letting you go back to your old habits.”
          
          By the end of it, I was BAWLING.
