I can't remember the last time I laid eyes on my unfinished work sitting around collecting dust. I thought to myself, When will it come? Motivation to write again: I just came back from a trip, and surprisingly, the peace and memories gave me the nudge to write again after almost a year of neglecting the said topic. I still have a burning desire to write. I didn't hesitate to act because it came naturally to me.
I'm still leaning toward one shot because I'm still getting used to the idea of me returning to write full-on stories like a book.
