@Acarbane01 think of it like cyberpunk, only using biology as the main thing instead of computers. a good book i read recently that relates ( though is slanderous towards the biotechnology industry) is "the wind up girl" by Paolo Bacigalupi. it was kinda slow and over used the language of where it was set, but the book is classed as biopunk and was worth the read.

Thanks man. It's actually the first chapter to my book, Memoirs of John Spencer. Almost done with editing, and looking to send it in. I was going to ask your help concerning the setting in my book, as I can see you're Australian. One of my characters is Australian, from Darlo, Sydney. I was wondering if, perhaps, you could be of help with some of the scenery, if you have a good idea of Darlo. Thanks

Hi, Just wanted to drop in and let you know about a new club on Wattpad. Something geared a little more to the gentlemen on the site.
          http://www.wattpad.com/club/40-the-pub
The Pub is a place for readers and writers of any genre, but the idea is to help out the minority of males on the site. Whether you are a guy who likes to write, need tips on creating male characters or just want to hang around with the gents, this is the place to come. Cheers, Gav
