Bro, the Rival devs no exactly what they're doin' with the new Luna Snow and Psylocke skins and highlight cinematics. Like the gooner accusations were already proven, but now it's just undoubtable. I respect it though, comics have always had big gooner energy, it's a defining part of the culture. A time-honoured tradition I'm glad to see is still being upheld. Brings a tear to the eye, even.

If I could both write and draw well it would be way too unbalanced, so God nerfed me out of spite. I am so jealous of artists, especially to those who have it come naturally. You are my greatest enemies walking this mortal coil.
So I'm going to see the new Superman film.
Am I the only one who isn't as hyped as a DC fan like myself should be? I LOVE Superman, he's awesome. I loved Henry Cavill as Superman, critique the Snyder films and their writing as you will because there are many legitimate criticisms and errors (even as someone who liked the more dark tone, I recognise this), but Cavill was just him, man. This isn't to shit on the new guy but the fact they led us along for so long with potentially bringing Cavill back only to redo everything really rubbed me the wrong way.
I didn't really like the new Batman film either, so maybe I'm just not with this new cinematic universe. Don't know if I'm in the minority or not. I could rant in a much longer post for my reasoning. But I'll post my thoughts on Superman when I go see it. Hopefully it's good...

@meman9907 I mean, my first story was a DC story even if it was crossover. If you're asking about whether I've thought about doing a story that's solely DC universe, then yes, but I haven't given enough thought to it.
@minesweeper0 Hey i hope this isn't rude, but since we're on the topic of dc stuff i was curious if you were considered making your own work relating to that universe- like black tarantula. im not saying are you making one currently just wondering if it ever crossed your mind?
@ezioenthusiast Maybe this is a reach but if Warner Brothers didn't force a Justice League film directly after Man of Steel without even a real origin film for Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Flash, etc then there would've been way more room in the movies for Cavill's Superman to show some more human character development (I don't think he's a narcissistic god but he could've been given more human moments). The fact they rushed their Avengers film screwed the universe from the start imo.

BT. I've written 5.5k words for the next chapter, might be able to get it out this evening, might not. Depends on whether I can be bothered. But it's been slow.

Gang, It's Black Tarantula week but I'm only like 2.5k words into the next chapter and I'd usually be like halfway done already. Might just be one chapter this week, depends on if I lock in or not. This is what I hate about trying to schedule. I lock in on one story and then I've gotta completely shift gears onto something else. I know this is a totally self-inflicted issue but it's infuriating all the same. It took me a single cycle of the new schedule for me to remember why I hate schedules.
(I would love to just write one story straight for like a few months and get it done but I don't want to just abandon the others. Problem is that if I ever actually want to finish a story then that's probably what I would have to do...)
I guess there are multiple ways to deal with this.
You could go along with the balance of writing all three stories at once and get the best of both worlds with writing your favourite stuff while also pleasing your entire readership. Cons being, as you've stated, it's difficult to write three books at once and still go full throttle.
Or, you could write what you enjoy most, it being a hobby and all (probably Black Tarantula lol) and thus your work would be better since you care more about what you're putting out and so the complete story would be something that side of your fanbase appreciated a whole lot more, as do you. Cons being, you may lose some readers who only care about a particular story and whatnot.
And the other option is to write your most popular work first, which would please the most people in your readership. In this case that would likely be Fundamental Forces, and as you've stated, it would take the least time to finish too so there's that. Cons being, you may want to work on other stories still and such you might get burned out.
Or maybe you could lessen your workload and write two stories instead of three? I don't really know, just tossing here. It's all up to you lol
Either way, I enjoy literally all of your stories so whatever you do I'm here for it. Try not to let this all bog you down :)
I’m sure I speak for most of the fanbase here when I say that we’d be fine with whatever you deceive to do. (It’s not like they’re our stories after all) So do what you’d like, we’re all here for your work.

Random thingy but I was watching a video of the sun explaining why scientists are terrified of the suns next "Carrington event" and whilst watching I decided to look up some characters with solar abilities and I ended up on a power listing site and I saw alot of talk about Fundamental Forces Manipulation.
May I ask if that site is where you got some of the basics for FF Y/n's abilities?

D'you mean the superpower wiki? If so, that's where I first saw fundamental forces as a listed power, if my memory serves me correctly. My original idea was that the insert would just control gravity. I don't remember exactly when it changed to being all four forces instead. While I did read through the applications to get a general vibe of what it could do I don't think I just took it from there. I very explicitly took a lot of time reading wikipedia and online forums trying to understand the science and seeing what smarter people said about what the possibilities of such a power would be, or getting chat to dumb the science down for me (take into consideration that I am a humanities student, I am in no way good with science).
