Hi guys! I know it's been around 10 months now since my disappearing act, which I never really explained, so I figured now is about time I should do so. For the most part, like with most hiatuses, I was caught up in reality alot and an overbearing amount of work. And although I had opportunites to write, the thought that I would upload a chapter of sub-par quality and disappear for another 2 months just made me figure that I should wait until I had free time.
But now I had found that when I had free time, I ended up doing alot with it, other than writing. I apologise for this, since I still aim to finish the stories I currently have posted. But for now, it is going to be long term thing for me. As for right now, I have another piece of news. I am currently writing a book...which is not going to be published on this site. It's pretty much become my first priority in my stories to write. And I know that means disappointing many others who enjoyed FF and TIOU and look forward for more. But right now, even if I was to work on them, I believe I would not be able to put my heart and soul into writing quality chapters - aswell as producing a satisfactory end result. So for now, I cannot say.
As for my current work, I have much to say, but it's too early right now. Regardless, I still feel like I had to inform you all about the current situation with regards to updates etc.
Taking a break from this site really allowed me to realign my values and made me fall back in love with writing, as when I was writing alone, I felt that I wasn't so paranoid about a follows/views and I concentrated on the journey I put my characters on. It doesn't mean to say I don't like views and follows, because I love them and they really boost my desire to write! But I sincerely feel that Wattpad has been a great learning curve for me and who I am as a writer, and I sincerely hope it is the same for you. Thank you for reading this far and putting up with me lol.
