eventful weeks update:
Week 1 - I had COVID and missed my last first football game.
Week 2 - Eventful homecoming week.
Week 3 - Friday was a _ hour day. My school was on the morning news, so I woke up at 3:15 a.m.. Then I went to school, had a football game that was 45 minutes away, performed at that game, got home at 12 a.m., showered and ate, and got in bed at 2 a.m.
Week 4 - Got an upper respiratory infection and then a sinus infection, missed that whole week of school. Then got diagnosed with illness induced asthma. I also missed the Gracie Abrams concert (I sobbed that night).
Week 5 - I still wasn't getting better, so we went back to the doctor. They misdiagnosed the illness induced asthma, it was actually pneumonia in the lower left lobe of my lung. Missed that entire week of school and my last first competition.
Week 6 (this past week) - Literally dying coughing during rehearsals to the point where my band director called out from the top of the tower if I was okay. Made the hard decision to take myself out of the ballad (3 parts to a marching show: opener, ballad, and closer). Left the football game early and missed seeing our team beat the other team for the first time in 19 years. Performed during prelims at the marching competition on Saturday, we got most and moved on to finals. And then...
WE WERE ANNOUNCED GRAND CHAMPIONS AT THE COMPETITION
