Hello I recently read your book,I'm shook as pineapple it's so beautiful. I relate to Maya cuz ever since the beginning of time beauty standards was blond,blue eyed,skinny or light skinned girls cuz watching, reading books and movies I've felt like I wasn't beautiful cuz you have to be that standard. I want to say thank you for writing this book for giving tribute to dark-skinned girls whether  African, Indian, Sri Lankan etc. Its woman like you who gives us hope and say that its okay to being different all that matters its on the inside. #PocWomenCharactersMatter #Queen

I can't wait to read 'The Girl He Didn't Want' it's about a Sri Lankan girl, and thats who I am. There's no books on Wattpad with a sri lankan girl, in an interracial relationship.
