                      the little creature sniffled a bit , her upper set of arms wiping away tears before she looked at the berries that were scooted near her . she took a few more hesitant steps before slowly lowering herself and picking up the berries and beginning to eat them . she shoveled them into her mouth as if she hadn ' t ate im a bit and looked up at them . ` ` .. thank you . ` `

*  mar  immediately  stopped  when  she  backed  away,  lowering  themself  into  a  crouch  and  giving  her  space.  *  hey,  it's  okay,  *  they  said  softly.  *  i'm  not  gonna  hurt  you.  *  after  a  moment,  they  carefully  set  a  few  berries  on  the  ground  between  them  and  scooted  back  a  little.  their  expression  stayed  gentle,  patient.  *  do  you  want  these,  sweetheart?

                   by the time she was found , the moth child was crying was small clicks . She perked up when she heard the voice and she looked over , antennae lowered and body trembling as she backed up a bit .

                   upon being pried away , the littlest of squeaks left the child as she scrambled before ultimately limping in his hands as a kitten would do if it was picked up by it ' s mother . once she was set upon his shoulder , she seemed to sooth herself at the contact , her lower set of arms held onto him and the other gripped her neck fluff for comfort . 
            
                    looking around the wasteland , her dark eyes slowly blinked , adjusting to the sight almost as she fidgeted with her fluff , wings twitching behind her . ` ` quiet . very quiet . sad . no flowers . flowers gone . ` ` the little creature muttered , her antennae lowering as she continued to look around . she then looked at him with a meek expression .
