I have a problem. Well, that’s a very broad statement, but I have this one problem in particular which is causing me great pain. And that is, Jikook, or rather, the extent of how much I ship it. I saw the leaked videos of Jungkook kissing Taehyung today. And needless to say I was disgusted, which I know is a very hurtful thing to say. Unfortunately so, it was the truth. I’ve become so engrossed in the fact that two Korean men, who have never acknowledged my existence, MIGHT actually be gay. But, that being said, it’s a pretty far fetched idea. Fans across the board, like myself, get so fixated by things we see online, yet, there’s not much we can do about it. I wish one day BTS, and other artists, would be able to be more open with us about what actually goes on in their lives. It’s hard knowing that everything we see, has been scripted and controlled by the management company’s that they’re under. Idols are under so much pressure to be the ideal idol, and it’s incredibly sad. What we see through our electronic screens are not people, they are puppets who are being pulled by strings. I just hope that one day, when the idols are free from their contracts, they are able to live a happy life. A life without all the documents that defined their very being, but rather as human beings, who can make their own decisions, and lead their own lives.
