          Thanks for your message! The old and new version of MPD are very different. Ironically when I wrote MPD the first time I was actually trying to get popular on quizilla by appealing to commonly used cliches like vampires, forced marriage, and high school girls. However after MPD took off, and more and more people liked it, I began feeling really uncomfortable about some of the choices I made with the story. Plus the story was super short, and I really wanted to work on expanding it. So that's why the new version was created, and yes, it's maturer, darker, and nastier than the original - I love horror and dark things, it's just me. 
          
          As for preserving the old version, I didn't. I am planning on self publishing this one day, and I don't really want the old version floating about the Internet, just in case people mistook it for the new version and tried to do something stupid, write a review etc. Anyway, hope you understand! Xx
