"Ladybug. Ladybug!" Chat rasped, his baton lying abandoned on the cement tiles as he leapt over the discarded items to his love. Ladybug lay unmoving,  her lively bluebell eyes shut and all the fight drained out of her pale face. 

"Mari- Marinette!" He screamed, using his last futile efforts to wake her. Her eyes fluttered open slowly.

"Adrien? You... you're Chat Noir?"
