I’m really fucking frustrated with what happened in my English class today. We were working on our argumentative essays, and my teacher accused my work of being written by AI, saying, “This isn’t your writing—it’s too good to be yours.” I explained that the essay was entirely my own work, but she did not believe me.
          
          As a result, I was sent to the principal’s office. The principal, who is related to my family through marriage, reviewed the situation and allowed me to leave without further disciplinary action. However, despite this, my English teacher still chose to give me a zero on the assignment.
          
          I considered providing proof of my writing ability, including my other written projects, but I ultimately decided not to share personal work to defend myself. It’s discouraging to be penalized for producing strong work, especially when the assignment was completed honestly and independently.

          So my little sister and I got into a bit of a debate today—and yes, it was about Paw Patrol ships. She’s only watched Paw Patrol once, but she has very strong opinions.
          
          You guys know I ship Ryder × Katie, always have, always will. But she insists on supporting Ryder × the Princess of Barkingburg, and let’s say neither of us was backing down. It turned into a full-on sibling argument over fictional characters, which, honestly, is funny looking back on it.
          
          No worries though—we’re fine now. Just one of those silly sibling moments where fandom opinions get a little too passionate. Thought you guys might get a laugh out of it

For those who have followed my journey since the very beginning, when I created my Wattpad account at fourteen years old, I could not have imagined where writing would lead me. At the time, I was simply experimenting—writing Paw Patrol stories without any clear direction or understanding of what I was doing. What I did know, even as a six-year-old child, was that I wanted to become an author. Growing up, I did not always receive encouragement for that dream. In fact, I was told very directly that it was unrealistic and unattainable. Those words stayed with me, but they also became a quiet source of motivation to prove that my aspirations were valid and worth pursuing. After my parents’ divorce, I explored other creative outlets as well. I participated in voice acting for minor roles connected to Paw Patrol projects before eventually stepping away to focus on school. During the middle of my eighth-grade year, I began reading stories on Wattpad without yet having an account. The first series I read was The Long and Hopeful Journey by @ThreadyRumble. That story inspired me deeply. One afternoon, sitting in a Firehouse Subs parking lot, I created my Wattpad account. The first story I published on this account was The End of the Paw Patrol. I have now been on this account for two years, and in that time it has witnessed personal growth, challenges, setbacks, and meaningful progress. Through all of it, the constant has been you—my readers. Your support, consistency, and encouragement have meant more to me than I can properly express. You stayed, even when things were difficult, and for that I am sincerely grateful. I felt compelled to write this tonight to acknowledge how far this journey has come and to thank those who have been part of it from the start.

          Question of the Day: This topic may be controversial, but it is worth discussing respectfully. Do you support Donald Trump or Kamala Harris? I support Kamala Harris. I previously supported Donald Trump, as did my family; however, that position changed following his immigration policies, particularly the expansion of ICE enforcement and deportations. Many individuals come to the United States seeking safety or relief from serious challenges in their home countries. Deporting them back to those conditions raises significant humanitarian concerns, and for that reason, I no longer support those policies.

Hey guys, it’s Rae!
          
          I went to the doctor today at 1:00 PM, and I finally have some really good news to share—I’m officially cancer-free. Hearing those words honestly didn’t feel real at first, and I’m still trying to process it. After everything I’ve been through, this feels like a huge weight being lifted.
          
          That said, the doctors also told me that I may still have seizures from time to time, and that’s something we’ll be monitoring moving forward. The doctor who explained this to me was Kaelynn’s epileptologist, which made the conversation feel even heavier and more emotional.
          
          I’m incredibly grateful, relieved, and emotional all at once. Thank you to everyone who supported me, checked in, prayed, and stayed by my side through all of this. I truly couldn’t have gotten through it without you 
          
          I’ll continue taking things one step at a time, but today is a day I’m allowing myself to breathe.

Hey guys, it’s Rae.
          
          I’ve made a really hard decision. I’m going to step away from writing for a little while so I can focus on my health and getting through this. Right now, beating cancer has to come first. If you see new chapters posted, please know they were written and scheduled in advance—I’m not actively writing at the moment.
          
          I also want to be honest and say that I’ve fallen back into a really deep depression, similar to what I struggled with years ago when I was younger. This has been overwhelming, exhausting, and emotionally painful, and some days it’s hard just to get through.
          
          Writing has always meant everything to me, and stepping away isn’t easy at all. This isn’t goodbye forever—just a pause while I try to heal, both physically and mentally. Thank you for being patient with me, for caring, and for staying kind. It truly means more than you know.
