Just watched the new Harry Potter trailer and I am torn asf. I want to like it, the beginning part of it seems cool they’re taking a realistic route to Harry’s abuse, but like… the rest of it becomes more uncanny and just wrong. But hey, that’s just me. The movies feel right, but I do like the realistic approach with the Dursleys rather than it staying whimsy. So that’s why I’m torn lmao. But there’s a lot of other details that my brain is winning with that just bothers me. Ohhhh I could go on lmao. But overall, the start of the trailer looks compelling, but yeah. Everything else is eeeeehhhh I’m on the fence.
