I think it’s time for a rewrite of chapter 3! 
          
          I’ve been feeling inspired and just had an idea for it. Because of the dark themes involved, I would like to keenly consistent with the appropriate direction that isn’t over the top whimsical because of Azure’s tragic backstory and how serious the tone is, but throwing in some comedic parts whenever the book comes to that. But for my own chapters, indeed I would like to not be inspired by the first book, which makes sense considering Azure isn’t 11, she’s 15 and just got out of the worst place possible. So stay tuned for a rewritten chapter 3!

Update! So I have originally planned some key parts from the book to appear in chapter 27, but because I know it’s gonna surpass 7k words, I would like to focus on detail as much as possible so the theme of chapter 27 will be focusing again on Azure and Harry’s relationship, so I’ll be splitting the ideas in two chapters which will make sense to time skip in Chapter 28. That one will be the spicy one! Angst! Drama! Possible temper?

GREAT NEWS—CHAPTER 27 IS UNDERWAY! 
          
          Genuinely glad my room was sweltering today with this heat. I was gonna do some sim racing photoshoots, but I didn’t wanna push it because I had to do more dusting so the air flow wasn’t so bunged up. In doing so, I have started with 1.7k words and counting!

So I can’t guarantee Whispers in the Dark would be finished before I leave for two weeks around the 13th of June (I think) so I’m hoping to speed up the writing process but in the midst of my sim racing season plus virtual photography, it’s a little bit tight. Then again, it’s always about quality over quantity and knowing me, even after publishing my chapters, I still go back and change a billion things just because I’m never satisfied lol. But stay tuned!
