LOKI!! YOU'VE CHANGED YOUR HAIR COLOUR! I LIKE IT!

"Ha, your ears have never been innocent, sister," he grinned down at her, amused by the scowl she was wearing. "It matters not what shape or form you might decide on." Was he deliberately taunting her? Yeah, but hey, what else were brothers for? And it would do Loki the world of good to lighten up a little. The last time Thor had seen her smile may have been when she had stabbed him. At the last sentence, a frown formed on his own features, kind of a half pout. "And why wouldn't we invite Sif? It has been the three of us since children and you know it. She is like family." Did the two of them have a falling out he was unaware of? Last he checked, Loki and Sif had been friends. They all had been. Not quite the Warriors Three, but good enough in his opinion.

@valhallason.
             ⠀⠀⠀ while sexual innuendos were not entirely uncommon for loki’s ears to be subjected to, she was never particularly pleased with such horrendous implications. she did not have very many friends, that was clear, but she didn’t like hearing about their intimate lives. the woman shifted her weight onto one leg and gave her brother an extremely pointed look. “for the sake of my new form’s innocent ears, perhaps we should refrain from letting them learn of your human friend’s fun time with fandral.”
             ⠀⠀⠀ despite the very unfortunate previous words, she listened to her brother’s follow up without interruption. she had hoped she would hear of their mother, that she had recovered nicely and she was back on her feet. she had not talked to her in so long, had hardly seen her in passing, yet she wished her nothing but the best. she could not face her mother after what she had done. “i have painted my nails plenty of times, thor. we have no need to invite sif.” she did not want to face the woman again unless it was truly necessary, for that woman was just salt in a fresh wound for her.

He let out a booming laugh, slapping his hands against his legs. "Don't be ridiculous, sister. Darcy saves the hair pulling for Fandral," he laughed, unable to resist such a comment. It probably wouldn't make Loki blush, but it would cause his sister to roll her eyes at him in exasperation. Frigga had tried to teach Thor, a long time ago, but she had given up when he had been unable to grasp the basic concept of what to do. Fortunately Darcy had other methods and somehow she had managed to teach him. "It'll be fun, just like old times. You have to let me do this. Ooo maybe we can invite Sif too. She could help us paint our nails."

Loki, put that down. Honestly, I can't take you anywhere.

Loki could call her whatever names she wanted. Sif wasn't about to fall for it. Not this time. That was the plan, after all. Rile her up so she'd lose control, the only thing that the trickster could control
             Well, it looked like Loki had another thing coming. Sif just regarded her with a bland stare, the comment about Thor such an old one. Would the other goddess ever tire of using that as an excuse? "Thor has an attachment with a human woman, if that's who you're referring too," the goddess replied with a roll of her eyes. It was said so simply, like she couldn't quite comprehend how Loki couldn't get that through their thick skull. "An extraordinary woman, actually. Agent May. Although, I have to say, if your brother fumbles, I might just be interested enough to snap her up myself. And you're wrong, by the way. About me and who I would have chosen. But please, run away Loki, just like you always do. Run from the truth you are far too scared to hear. It is enough that I know it. That is all that ever mattered." She fell silent, planning on executing a perfect exit having said her final words. It was what Loki wanted and there was no point sticking around talking to a brick wall.

             ⠀⠀⠀ “if you truly believe such a foolish notion, then perhaps you are not as smart as i have always given you credit for.” the words are hummed out nonchalantly as she turned to face the asgardian, her head tilting momentarily. “the webs that hold our fate in their silk have already been weaved. i am simply falling into my place, as should you.” no matter how much love she held for the woman before her, she would not change just for her. she would not waste her breath for someone who chased after her brother, when surely she could find someone else— someone who could love her even with what she’s done in the past.
             ⠀⠀⠀ “who else would i be referring to, sif? you have never fawned over me before, i doubt you would start now because like you stated mere moments ago, you think that i am not worthy of being saved.” not that she needed to be saved. SHE WAS A GOD. if she needed saving, she could saddle up and save herself. no, actually, she could not. not when she purposely let go of herself on that damn rainbow bridge when she could have been saved. if she had never let go, things would surely be different— she would likely be a different person. perhaps that was the fate she should have chosen for herself, but she was never reliable in the state she had been in at that time. “is this lovely conversation done so you can go be a puppy, or do you intend to continue torturing me?”

She gave a snort at that, resisting the urge to roll her eyes. Loki may have had that face on, the one that claimed nothing hurt, but she knew better. Oh, Sif knew Loki far better than she knew herself. "No one said you're not capable of change. You can do anything you set your mind to. You simoly choose not to. Everything is a choice, whether you like it or not," the warrior pointed out. That was a lesson she had learned from her father at a very young age. She was responsible for her own destiny, not anyone else, but she had to make choices. It was really that simple. "And in case you haven't noticed, you also happen to be a 'dumb' blonde at the moment. So who exactly am I supposed to be fawning over, Loki? Thor? Or you?" Oh she wasn't afraid to play this game, even if Loki wanted to do nothing more than throw jabs in her direction.
