Okokokok pissed off over the Stranger Things ending for a lot of reasons. Don’t get me wrong, I did like it, it was just rushed and kinda disappointing. But one of the main reasons is how Queerbaited Byler was, and how they handled it. So here’s my suggestion as a writer, hear me out.

A good year later, the main four are in college and all come back to Hawkins for Joyce and Hoppers Wedding. Mike has finally come to terms with Elevens sacrifice, and chooses to write on her story and his childhood. While doing so, he reminisces on past memories and realizes something about himself. Something that makes him completely crazy. After reliving all that happened in his writing, he comes to terms with his feelings towards his best friend, who he didn’t notice before. But now, it’s too late. Will brought a date to the wedding. Mike was confident, but now he’s moved on. He had this whole confession planned out, he brought the painting and everything. Only, it looks like Will has moved on. He really was his Tammy. He still goes through with his plan, and gives out the rough draft of his story to the party, in hopes that it’ll bring Will back to his childhood that he’s chosen to leave far behind. At least for him. Will reads it all in one night, and finds himself drawing the scenes out, comic book style. He’s still in town for a bit, and chooses to show Mike. However when he does, Mike lets his guard down and unleashes all his feelings. Only, Will isn’t having any of it. Now Mike has to win, not just his best friend back, but his biggest mistake.
“It’s not my fault you don’t like girls anymore!”

Sorry I’m spiraling after the finale.
