Gonna put some rant TW (swearing and mentions of suicide) 
          	
          	So this is my first announcement and I’ve had this account for like 10 years now (?) I don’t only write on Wattpad, I read A LOT. And the amount of AI stories on here is scary. AI can do all the technology stuff it wants, I don’t care but when people use it for art (and yes I’m counting shitty fan-fictions as art) it’s gone too far. I would rather read a story with spelling mistakes but the imagination is real than one written by AI.
          	
          	My second point is AI is shit, really. I don’t know how many people have seen this but the use of AI lead to a teenager taking his own life, encouraging him to do so and telling him to hide the evidence so no one can stop him. And that’s just one life that made it into the news. This isn’t taking into account the massive effect that the use of AI has on the environment. 
          	
          	My point is, why put something that can cause so much harm in charge of spreading joy and making art?
