I have a degree in English. I co-run an ad/marketing agency (Walkerville Publishing) that also specializes in helping authors self-publish their books. I am the managing editor. Four of our titles that my husband and I produced that focus on the history of Windsor and area. My creative outlet is usually photography. Consequently, I produced a book on blurb.com called "Becoming Rosalie" which is mostly a picture book showing my daughter's beautiful journey from a 5 year old to a 15 year old and i produced a photo book through Iphoto called "I Love New York".  
in 2010 I started "Windsor Writers Group" to help local writers get constructive feedback on their writing. I rarely do any fiction writing but at our last meeting, I came up with a writing exercise - write a short story in a 1/2 hour using 10 random words - and i tried my hand at it. I kind of liked what i came up with. Then, thanks to facebook, i stumbled upon Wattpad, so I thought i'd join and start posting some writing.
