“To be Great is to be Misunderstood” – Emerson

In order to do something great you will be misunderstood to many, that’s where I am in life. Doing great things that others don’t understand, I am doing what I love and makes me happy. 

I am Jessica or Jessie for short, I am a fearless, and soft spoken and outgoing Scorpio who tells the truth even if my voice shakes. I have a blog that is all about my love for reading and books. I read more than my librarian and she finds that amazing. I am a writer because I have this need to get the stories out of my head for others to enjoy. I see myself as a chef, but really am just a home cook, trying out really hard recipes, failing most of the time, but it’s all about that one time it turns out amazing.  My friends see me as supportive, loyal and selfless, but they have to say things like that. I see myself as hopeful, caring and compassionate. You will never see me without a book in my hand or somewhere close by, you never know when you will have a few minutes to read; I take every moment I can.  I would like to say I am a lover not a fighter, but that would be a lie. I will fight for what I feel is important or someone I love, which makes me a little of both.

That’s I what I try to do all the time, be my true self. The nerdy, strong, misunderstood girl that I am.
