Actually I've been joining journalism contest in my high school years so tip ko lang sayo is to always read between the lines. Look for something new. Always look at the other side of the coin. For example if the topic is about abortion instead of writing about the plea of the fetus which is very cliche, pwede mo gawing subject yung mommy, yung point of view niya kung bakit niya ginawa yun. Basta be creative! And ofcourse enjoy! In every article, put your heart on it!
