Had a couple hiccups that caused me to get behind on where I wanted to be with my novel.  I'm slowly getting it typed out in a single long chapter basically, then as I go through and find good breaking points I'll start uploading.  I'm hoping to be able to give you the first chapter as a Thanksgiving present as a way to say thank you for sticking things out and being awesome followers.

Update: 
          Work is well under way on my novel.  I now have a working title for it, "Mantis", take from that what you will.  Yes, it is mantis as in a praying mantis.  Figured I'd give you guys the working title as a little hint as to what the novel might be about.  If any of you have guesses, I want to hear them.  Send them my way.  You can reply here or if you don't want your guess to be public then just message it to me.  If you're right I might dedicate a chapter to you. 
          
          Other stats:
          Longest I've stayed up studying- 2am before getting up at 7am *cries*
          Number of times I've rethought my major today- I lost count
          Earliest I've had a firedrill-5:30am
          Number of homeworks I've stayed up really late to finsih for history only to have him be like, 'oh we'll look at it next class' or 'we're just going over it' - 2 of 3
          Number of times our english teacher has cancelled class the morning we were supposed to have class causing about a dozen of us to wait outside the door because we didn't check our email- 1 
          number of times I haven't had english class cause the professor cancelled- 2

Hey guys, after a long hiatus, I am back.  Working on a couple of small short projects that I will try to update a couple times a week, a blog type thing with just article type things dealing with my experiences at college and a fun little thing with Percy Jackson (OC created by the one and only Rick Roirdan).  If the fellow Hufflepuff I met in the elevator was correct about the 3:00am fire drill tomorrow then there will probably be a short piece about that.  (She said that she heard from her RA that they had heard there was going to be one.  If it happens, Fellow Hufflepuff from the Elevator, thank you for the heads up.  I owe you one.) Anyways, I deter.  Also, I'm working on getting some of an original piece put together.  After I get a considerable bit of it written then I'll probably begin posting it here.  I just don't want to start posting it and then leave three weeks between parts cause I got busy.  I'll probably try to post parts every Tuesday and Thursday when I am ready to start posting it.  I'll send out a note probably a couple days in advance to be looking out for it.  Thank you all for being fabulous people and for continuing to follow me.  Hope you enjoy what I'm doing here, I know I do.

Hey there Sydney - thanks so much for following me, and for your comment on Born of Shadow. I just read through your bio - that's too funny you use your friends and classmates for characters, although should i be worried by you mentioning in the next sentence you kill them off?? Haha - nice to meet you!

I really like your strategy with characters I'm going to adopt it. Beware *insert evil laugh*
