i’ve been contemplating whether i should stop using wattpad or not. i know i’ve had a great time here, but the community is somewhat dead and i feel discouraged to have only a few people read my content (even though it really is better than nothing). i don’t update my ongoing books regularly like what i did in the past. of course writing takes time and it doesn’t have to be all perfect but i feel guilty when my readers have to wait for so long for a new chapter that’s so short. the creative side of me hasn’t been clicking on for a while now so i don’t have that many ideas.
          
          i hope i will get that motivation back and at least finish HOT SHOWERS. before i decide to actually leave

@mistype i totally understand how you're feeling, i think every once in awhile when i'm not on this app i kind of realized how unnecessary it is for me when i don't write. it is hard for me to write because motivation is so hard for me to find so it takes me awhile to update and i'm still in school so it's even more rough. also this place can be highly toxic and I think we all at some point have seen or been through how bad it can truly be. plus i think this place is slowly becoming more and more dead, i think some people are still trying their best to keep their account alive and their readers reading but it's really hard.
