I felt the need to write this when I came across someone else's story. Basically, they posted a pic of an OC, (most of them were in fact Mary Sues) and just bashed them, that or they were lazy enough to say only "I'm out, bye" or just "come on" and that was the end omg the chapter!! What? And some of the OCs weren't even that bad. They're were a few, that had pleasing designs, no dark/ edgy backstory, they just got mad because it was Pokémon!!
Obviously, I don't want this writer to be bashed, so I won't be sharing the name of the book, but seriously, it has THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS of views, and they put little to no effort in every chapter. It frustrates me when I spend hours upon hours writing and research a single chapter for my own book, and I do well to get 40 views. And I'm not trying to complain, I am SO THANKFUL for those 40 views, and the views really aren't why I'm here. I'm here because I enjoy writing. But when small creators who put countless hours of effort into what they enjoy, with little to no feedback and people like this get endless praise and attention, it bugs me. Again, I am so so so so thankful for all my followers, and all my reads, and all my votes. Please don't take this as a "oh I wish I had more followers rant" because that's not how I mean it. Anyway, thanks for listening.
