MJ Masucci grew up in Southern New York and still lives there today with her husband and two precocious Siamese cats.  She attended college in the Deep South giving her new experiences for her writing projects.  As a young teen, she began writing short stories and putting down ideas for novels on a small notepad.  
With her husband's encouragement, she finally decided to start writing her debut novel, Spark, the first book of her trilogy, The Heat Series, which she self-published.  
When not writing, she is a sports enthusiast who enjoys Football, Hockey and Baseball.
