Michael J. Scharen is an author of science fiction. The works are in the vein of old-fashioned 'hard' sci-fi of Heinlein and others. Stories include fascinating characters with plenty of adventure along with notable but not overpowering anarchist/voluntaryist/agorist themes.  Today's technological advancements are extrapolated into the future along with the more fanciful 'Faster-Than-Light' travel and communication. Some novels  are loosely linked with the same generation or characters.  There is one trilogy thus far but each book is a great stand-alone read!
