I'm getting a little frustrated to be blunt outright. I love writing my stories SO much, but it doesn't feel the same when the audience is of silent, mysterious characters. You all have me so perplexed with the silence that I'm unsure what to do, where to go, or what to say. I want to continue writing my stories (as much for myself) for all of those who need an escape from a moment, an hour, a brief time of your day where you've just said "Enough, I wish to be in a different realm, but not this one."
          So with that said what do all my fellow readers think of the books thus far?

Hey everyone!
          
          I wanted to pop on here and give you all a little life update regarding Lachlan's Game. If you've been wondering where the next chapter is, the short answer is: real life has officially ambushed me!
          
          Between the whirlwind of the kids starting a new school year (we've officially got grades running all over the place now) and the absolute chaos of our washing machine dying right in the middle of it all—meaning my laundry mountain is currently threatening to take over the house—my writing time has taken a massive hit this week.
          
          When my brain is this fried, it's a little hard to dive straight into the dark, twisty world of the story without forcing it, so I'm taking a couple of days to catch my breath, wrangle the appliance repair situation, and get back into the groove.
          
          Please know I haven't abandoned Bram & Eloise! I'm still actively chipping away at the next chapter behind the scenes and I'm so excited for you to read what happens next. Thank you all so much for your endless patience, your lovely comments, and for sticking with me while I navigate the back-to-school madness. I promise it'll be worth the wait!
