Hello there! My name is Deejay and I'm a young writer from Canada. School and other activities take up most of my time. Writing is more of a hobby, but I do hope to be a journalist one day. I registered for Wattpad with the intention of posting my story. It's barely even begun, however I have a developed plan for said story. Furthermore, I will also post multiple short stories, poems and some small one-shots. 

I suppose I should tell you more about me now. Well, I love to read! Books are the key to escaping reality and getting lost in the protagonist's problems and forgetting your own. A good novel should be able make you feel the same things the narrator is feeling and that is something I hope to convey in my own stories. If I fail to make you shed the smallest tear or smile the biggest grin, then I have failed as an author.

Besides reading, I love listening to music. My favourite genres are alternative, jazz, classic rock and classical. I also enjoy theatre and musicals. I suppose my favourite musical would be Chicago, with Hair and RENT being very close seconds. I love paintings and art museums. My favourite artists would have to be Salvador Dalí, Edgar Degas, Gustav Klimt and Vincent Van Gogh. History and English are my favourite studies in school. I find history to be very fascinating. Studying the events that have shaped our world are so very interesting to me. As for English, I enjoy the literature aspect the most. However, good grammar is most important and grammar lessons are my favourite as well.
