The Silencer is now #1 in Elder Scrolls! If you’ve read even one chapter, left a comment, shared a theory or just quietly followed along… thank you. From the shadows of the Brotherhood to the skies of Sovngarde… we’re only just beginning.

@Tyranidlord That honestly means a lot, thank you. I’ve always felt the Dark Brotherhood had way more depth than what Skyrim gave them, so I really wanted to explore that. You probably noticed I brought back the Black Hand and wove in a custom hierarchy, partly to honor how rich the Silencer role was in Oblivion, and partly because I felt like the Skyrim branch needed that weight behind it again. I do stick close to the game’s questline in some ways, but I also take liberties especially with the betrayal arc. I always thought it should be a betrayal, but one that actually feels deserved, you know? Not just shock value. And characters like Astrid… I felt like she had so much potential for internal conflict, loyalty, manipulation. She deserved more than a few dramatic lines and a fiery sendoff. So thank you again, it really means a lot that this came across. Can’t wait to see how you play with them when they show up in your own work!

@mmdaesatra no worries. The Elder Scrolls fandom is small enough that after a while any writers who do more than a one shot start getting recognisable. I really appreciate your words about my fics too. The Dark Brotherhood are covered in a lot of stories but only a rare few like yours actually get fleshed out or given the attention they deserve. Or at the very least more than simply scratching the surface at least. I will say though that the Silencer has actually made me realise that out of all my stories I don't actually have the Dark Brotherhood involved at all. They barely get mentioned. (I guess they're doing their jobs well in the Bloodtide Universe haha) I do have plans for them in my later Post-Skyrim series at least as minor characters in one of the subplots. Should be a lot of fun to write.

@Tyranidlord Thank you so much and honestly, seeing this from you really caught me off guard (in the best way). I’ve seen your work around and always noticed how rich it is in lore and depth you clearly know your stuff, and it shows. :) I really value your thoughts on The Silencer. It means a lot that you’ve been keeping an eye on it. So thank you, sincerely.

Thanks for reading my story, I’ve been reading yours and it’s very engaging! The Bosmer were always my favourite kind of elf in TES.

@roarcus thank you! i just wanted to add my imagination to the story of Skyrim and it’s lore, which is rich when it comes to organizations like Thalmor and Dark Brotherhood that i had always imagined , slightly different. hopefully you’ll enjoy the rest of the story!

The same to you! I’m currently at chapter 6 on your work and I plan on finishing it later on when I have time, to be honest it’s the first TES fan fiction I’ve read and it’s got me hooked - as it’s been a while since I’ve played Skyrim which I adore. I find your exploration of the Dominion and Brotherhood really interesting, especially with Nazir as the Listener. Very cool stuff!
