It's done! The new version of Memories Stirred is up. Most of what you've read so far has been rewritten and four new chapters have ben added that complete the story. If you had previously read everything then you will find that the new chapters do not make much sense, so I'd advise retracing your steps back to chapter 13 or 14. Much of what precedes those has been tightened up and gives considerably more information (Thrain's chapters for example are completely rewritten), but the context is the same.

Hi everyone. First up, apologies for not posting any updates to Memories Stirred. I wasn't happy with the ending but I shouldn't have just abandoned the updates over here with no explanation. Sorry for that. The good news is the story has been tightened up a lot, all your feedback has been acted on and it actually has an ending! I'll be posting full updates over the weekend. The first half a dozen chapters have just been polished, but after that much of the story has been rewritten, especially Thrain's arc. The story is currently going to a copy editor and will then go up for sale on Amazon. So enjoy the freebie ;-) Hope you enjoy the changes.

Here are the tweaks that have been made to the early parts of the story. As I said, they could be considered minor spoilers, so it's up to you, but I wanted to explain some of the inconsistencies for you:

          Nan was a 'girl' asset.
          Saidin now never actually says 'Thrain is Trevallen'. Essentially Thrain comes to that conclusion by himself
          Guns are now known, but Morgan appears to have a deeply ingrained revulsion of them. Thrain does not.

4 Chapters published! Not just that, but 4 chapters with revelations, guns, surprises, swearing and chocolate biscuits!
          
          This is the calm before the storm. Things are put in order. Secrets are revealed. Plans are made. Situations reacted to.

HI all, Chapter 5 has just been published! Thrain's situation goes downhill, but he finally starts getting some answers to what might be going on.
          
          Also, Chapter 4 disappeared (got to be something to do with the recent iOS app update which focussed on Create I reckon) so I've had to republish that. Tad annoying as all the stats and comments associated with it have gone! Hey ho, such is life.
