Hi friends and strangers!  I'm a YA author living in Minneapolis. I'm sharing stories here to build community, flex my voice, and amass as many of your witty comments as I can reasonably acquire.  

When I'm not writing, I'm taking pictures, running uphill, and contemplating the squirrel-mafia that live in my willow tree out back. Like many of you, I study how to bring good stories into existence, from spark to seed to clay to tendril. 

Thank you for being a fearless audience. Thank you for being your wild, clever, exploratory selves. Don't let any man with a snifter tell you what makes writing writhe and breath and kick. Be ungovernable. Be unbridled. It makes them quake.
