Heyy. I'm attempting a comeback. I wanted to explain myself, though.
I went to the doctor's and got diagnosed with coeliac disease and iron deficiency anaemia about 2 and a half weeks ago. I have coeliac disease in my genetics and I have been staying away from gluten for over 6 years because I thought I was gluten intolerant until I got tested and got very high results even though I didn't actually have that much gluten.
It's an auto-immune disease so when I eat gluten my immune system attacks my tissues which damages my small intestine. Mine isn't actually all that bad but it could get worse if I were to continue eating gluten so I don't anymore and believe me there's gluten in more things than you'd think.
Iron deficiency anaemia can come from coeliac disease and apparently my hemoglobin and iron levels are dangerously low so I've been taking an iron tablet but I have to get another blood test done to check if it's working which I'm so not excited for. Other things that might have affected my iron levels would be being vegetarian and that I had pretty heavy periods before I also started taking tablets for that. Now that I think about it, I've lost a lot of blood because I'm also fairly clumsy and I used to get bad nose bleeds lmao. I also have to go to a dietitian.
So these things can make me pretty damn tired which they have done because it progressively gets worse as they're untreated and I haven't had much energy to do much of anything let alone write a book without plot-holes and good writing.
If you've read this far, thank you for reading and if you're reading either or both of my books, thank you. Also, to @J-ayann because you're the first ever vote or comment I've ever gotten x
