OH OH AND GUUUUYYYSS! IT'S ALMOST A YEAR! A YEAR SINCE I FIRST WROTE 'THE MATCHMAKER'! Our classes were also suspended that day (suspended for a week, actually) and there was literally no electricity, no water. My phone was dead, my tablet was dead. My laptop was the only thing alive that time. June 15, 2014. I was on our couch, sweating buckets, thinking about some 'what ifs'. What if Ross and Laura never booked A&A? Will they still meet? And if so, they won't be co-stars, right? So, there will be a possibility for them to date? (Guys, I was 3 months in the fandom this time so I was a HUGE Raura shipper. But now, let's just say have respect.) I was like, "You read a lot of Raura fanfics so they met in lots of fictional ways." and, "If you really want this thing to happen to them but it obviously won't happen in real life, why don't you make it happen in a fictional life?" So I turned on my laptop which had 12% battery and went on to a word document. I thought, "I should start the story in Laura's POV. So I typed in bold, "~Laura's Point of View~". I took a deep breath and smiled as I typed in the first words of my first fanfiction. "School's back in, now entering senior year. I am Laura Marie Marano, 16 years old, also known as 'the matchmaker'. . ." After 2 weeks of deciding wheter to post it or not. . . revising the plots. . . I published 'The Matchmaker - A Raura Fanfiction' on July 29, 2014. The cover was Ross and Laura as their A&A characters in the pilot where Austin tells Ally that he would pay for the instruments when he becomes a famous singer. And now we've reached 22K+ reads and we're now continuing the events in Ross and Laura's lives in my imaginative world. Sigh, that was so emotional to write. I've got chills and just literally all sorts of feels. Thank you guys for always being there for me, commenting on every chapter I publish even if it's crap. I love you all so so so much I can't even explain how much <3 Thank you.
