@Sirenocolas Hi, Sirencolas! I started out in April, but I do have a few tips!
1. The characters! If you want to do write a fanfic, think about the characters: What is their favourite colour, favourite food, what's their personality like, etc! It's the better if they're relatable! Maybe add a few bad personality traits, like short temper, grumpy etc.
2. Explain sometimes surroundings? Maybe you could explain how does your character's home look like? It's your choice, after all. Here's an example:
" (Insert the main character's name) walked inside the beautiful cave. There were beautiful art pictures with amethyst-studded frames. A lion-pelt rug lied on the floor in front of him/her. He/she looked up and saw the large golden throne in front of him/her. (Insert name) next to him/her gasped. The throne had all kinds of gems studded onto it, and the fluffiest and softest-looking blanket was laying on the throne."
