          - The Erotic Exoplanet: Chapter 10 is out now, ending Act 1 of Ashley's adventure. The groundwork for Act 2 is being laid out, I'll do my best to keep producing quality!
          
          - The Hex: Chapter 6 is being worked on now! We haven't touched on Maya in a bit, so time to see how she's doing!

          - Short Stories: I have a concept for a Christmas-themed one-shot I'm gonna try to revisit, and I'm gonna visit my fairy x insect idea in a bit too!

          Y'all...I did it! I completed the chapter! Took me a minute, but I got there in the end. I figure Act 2 is going to be a bit more driven for Ashley, pushing her a bit further out into the world and giving her more reason to explore and actively push for home, and also giving you more of that monster action you guys love so very much!
          
          I've been considering doing a special project related to TEE, basically a databook or sorts. It would have maps, art and concepts for monsters and Ashley herself, and even answer some questions you all have about the story. It'd be a pretty cool project to work on I think. Only issue is I'm not the greatest with maps, but I'll do my best to make them true to the setting. I could make a separate bestiary altogether with all the monsters I use in all my works, and update them every now and then. Could be a fun side project to work on. For now, though, I'll hold focus on the main ones! (and maybe start working on a little map of the Zephyr to keep myself motivated).

          - The Erotic Exoplanet: To those of you who have been asking, yes, this is still being worked on. I had a creative surge the past couple days and now the chapter is more than halfway through. I'm in the home stretch!

          - Hex Maniac's Nightcare: Yeah, unfortunately, this one's on indefinite hiatus for the time being.

          I'm still here guys, don't worry. There's been a lot happening in my life as of late, and a good chunk of my free time has been me trying my best to recalibrate. My birthday recently passed (I'm 22 now, if you're wondering!) so that was fun! Job hunting, however? Less than fun. Schoolwork? Not the worst, but also not the best thing in the world either. 
          
          Writing so far for TEE has me in a bit of a loop. I click on the story to keep writing, motivation swan dives out the window, I try working on something else to get it back, motivation for that nosedives and I get motivation to work on TEE, I switch back to TEE, motivation swan dives out the window, you see where this is going. I manage to break those loops every now and then by getting a paragraph out, or even with my creative surges. I'm trying to prompt myself to write a little more each time I open it, so at least progress will still be made. Now I gotta do that consistently. Not to worry, I don't plan on actually stopping anytime soon. Rest assured, I'm still here and doing my best to put out quality with each chapter.

September Update! Don't worry, I'm still alive!
          
          Current Projects:

          - The Erotic Exoplanet: We're about halfway through Chapter 10 atm. I plan for this to be the end of what I'd call "Act 1" of the story. In terms of the entire story, we're either at the halfway point or we're 1/3 of the way done!
          
          - The Hex: This will probably be the next project after TEE because good lord its been several months since the last chapter :O
          
          - Hex Maniac's Nightcare: Honestly might make the tough decision to scrap this one until I have more motivation to work on it. It's a little unclear atm.

          - The Sarconian: still in the same place, but the motivation to work on this is still there. Wattpad just launched an update allowing me to organize projects into series, so when it drops, I'll drop each book in there.
          
          - Short Stories: The fairy x insect story I think I am gonna map out. We'll see how that goes!

          So sorry for not having much activity last month. These past few weeks have been busy and kinda stressful. Plus, kinda like last year, I got blasted with an unhealthy dose of *writer's block* again, so that's lovely. Shouldn't be as bad as it was last year, I did kinda push myself past the part of Chapter 10 I was second-guessing myself on. That's also been part of the problem: me doubting and second-guessing my own content, a trap I often fall into. It's a matter of confidence and hoping my work doesn't decline the further in I go. There's a lot you gotta pay attention to when writing adventure/lore-heavy stories like this, not just the sexy parts. 
          
          Somehow, I'm already running out of characters, so I think I'll leave it here. Sorry this was so short! I love you guys, thank you all for the lovely comments and check-ins! I'll keep doing my best for all of you!

          Gonna be real with all of you, the past month has been rough on me, to the point where I can literally accurately describe my anxiety as this black ocean my brain floats on that it can dip into at any time. That and the stress of moving into my new apartment have been basically tag teaming me. Not exactly a fun time. I'm working through it slowly, and since uni is starting soon, I'm working on getting back into my academic groove (if I'm an academic weapon, then I'm an inflatable sword you get at the dollar store)
          
          That being said, friends, make sure you're taking care of yourselves. It's August now and lord, its hot outside (especially for my northern hemisphere based readers), so make sure you're staying cool and staying hydrated. That and a proper mix of sunlight will do WONDERS for your physical and mental health. Take deep breaths and focus on today; don't worry about the past, don't stress too much about the future. Most of all, NEVER trust your thoughts after 9 PM; harder to make good decisions when you're tired.
