For almost two weeks #endSARS protest have been going on in Nigeria. The protest were totally peaceful until on the night between Thursday and Friday the protesters on the Lekki bridge got shot by the military. Over 70 youths were killed. We don't know who commissioned the shootings even thou there is believe that it was done by Tinubu (leader of the political party APC and the head of TVC) who is the godfather of Lagos state. Being the godfather of a state means being the leader of it even thou there is a governor. Every month lagotians, people that live in Lagos, pay taxes and a portion of the money goes to Tinubu even thou he doesn't own any official position in the state. Most of my family lives in Nigeria and I have been there several times. The country is suffering, Buhari(the president) is calling youths lazy when not giving them the right environment to work and claiming that a snake swallowed 300 million naira (it is popular believe in Nigeria that snakes eat money)
