i just realized something, if riverdale takes place in current time so 2017 that would mean that all the characters except cheryl and jason were born in 2001. jason and cheryl are both seniors at pembrooke academy in the comics. so jason and cheryl were both born in 1999. so if your born in 2000 you can actually date one of the characters thats if river dale was a real instead of fictional.
