 Important Update on Upcoming Chapters!
          
          Kia Ora everyone! I wanted to share my plans for the upcoming updates and give you a little glimpse into how the story is evolving.
          
          The next three new chapters will be entirely dedicated to Before The Light.
          Why this order? The events and specific details revealed in these three prequel episodes are crucial. They will directly intertwine with the storyline of Final Resort. You'll see this complex connection and all the narrative threads fully unravel in one of the future FR chapters—this will happen roughly after 20 releases of the edited and reworked chapters, when all the pieces finally lock into place.
          
          As for the continuation of the main storyline, the next brand-new chapter of Final Resort will most likely be published closer to next month or a bit later. I need some time to make sure everything is exactly right.

          Lately I’ve noticed a strange pattern on Wattpad and I’m curious if other writers have experienced this too.
          
          Sometimes accounts leave very cinematic comments about my story becoming a comic/visual adaptation, ask to continue the conversation on Discord or Instagram, follow me… and then later both the account and comment completely disappear.
          
          At first I thought it was coincidence, but it’s happened multiple times now.
          
          I genuinely appreciate kind feedback and creative interest, but the repeated “comment → follow → disappear” pattern feels unusual.
          
          Has anyone else encountered this lately?

          Great news — Chapter 2 of "Final Resort" is available to read now! It’s getting colder in Jackson, and not just because of the winter. Toxic rumors, open confrontations on the streets, and a grief that knocks you off your feet. In this part, we dive deeper into Ellie's isolation and finally meet Cat face-to-face in her darkest hour.

          I am so incredibly excited to announce that the first TWO chapters of the prequel — Before the Light — are officially published and waiting for you! 
          
          We are diving deep into the Moon family's past, the brutal reality of Salt Lake City, and the exact moments that forged Rhea into the survivor she is. 
          
          Prepare yourselves, because the angst and heartbreak are very real. 
          
          A quick heads-up on something annoying: I tried to include interactive polls at the end of each chapter so we could discuss all the intense moments, but Wattpad is currently glitching and completely refusing to let me add them (classic Wattpad ).
          
          But I’m not letting a bug stop us! Until the platform fixes the issue, I've left the poll questions as text at the very bottom of the chapters in the Author's Note. We are doing this the old-school way—just drop a number in the comments to cast your vote! I really want to know how you feel about the beginning of this story.

I’ve updated the first chapter of Final Resort with some new fragments. I felt it was important to capture that "phantom pain" Ellie is experiencing—where the heart remembers what the mind has lost. Keep an eye on her reaction to Joyce; for those of you following the prequel, these small "glitches" in her memory will start to mean a lot more ️‍

          Quick update for those asking about the pace: I am currently split between the past and the future. Final Resort is still in development alongside this prequel, so I’m balancing two worlds at once.
          
          The wait will be worth it. The truth about Rhea starts now.

          I wanted to reach out with a quick but important explanation regarding the delays in publishing new chapters for "Final Resort" and "Before the Light." 
          
          I know you are waiting for the story to continue, and believe me, I am just as eager to share the next plot twists with you.
          
          The problem isn’t a lack of inspiration or time to write. The main reason the chapters are being held up is due to constant technical issues with AI image development.
          
          As you may know, I strive to accompany my stories with unique illustrations to fully immerse you in the worlds of "Final Resort" and "Before the Light." These images are an integral part of my vision, and they help me convey the emotion and dynamics of the scenes exactly as I intended them.
          
          Unfortunately, lately, the process of creating these images has turned into absolute torture. I am facing countless system crashes, the AI misinterpreting prompts, absurd generation errors (extra limbs, distorted details, wrong backgrounds, missing effects), and, as a result, constantly hitting generation limits. I have to redo the same thing 10-15 times, and even then, the result is often far from ideal.
          
          Today has been the peak of this madness, and honestly, I am at my wit's end. All my resources were wasted fighting the imperfections of the technology instead of just creating and sharing it with you. It is incredibly frustrating and drains a huge amount of energy and time that I could have spent on the actual writing.
          
          I am really counting on your understanding and support in this difficult situation. I want to keep making the stories visually rich, but the current technical barriers are seriously slowing down the process.
          
          I am continuing to work on the text and I am looking for workarounds to solve these image issues. Please bear with me. Your support means the world to me and gives me the strength to keep going.
