I love the name Kailani (Lani for short)—it’s adorable, unique, and fits her perfectly. And the Japanese-American representation? I see you! It’s beautiful and clearly personal to you, which makes it even more meaningful. You don’t see representation like that often, and it’s exactly what I love to see in stories.
You’ve been portraying every single character so well. The relationship between Brian and Lani had me going CRAZY—in the best way! The back-and-forth tension, the feelings, the yearning… SO good. I was hooked the entire time.
I also loved how you brought in other characters and expanded Lani’s world. Giving her cousins like Noa and Chase—who’s engaged to Mia—was such a fun touch! Like okay, I see you! It added so much depth to the story, and I love how naturally you blended their relationships into the plot.
And can we talk about Lani’s friendships with Mia, Noa, and Letty? I adore their dynamic. Plus Dom calling her his sister (even without the blood relation) is just chef’s kiss. Speaking of Dom… I cannot WAIT to see some teasing between him and Lani about him being bald—I feel like that’d be hilarious.
All jokes aside, I’m really excited to see what’s next. Will everyone end up on the run? What choices will they make? So many decisions happening at once—it’s intense in the best way. And we all already know how Vince is going to react, lol.
Also, I was wondering—are you planning to cover the entire Fast franchise or just up to seven? Either way, I know it’ll be amazing.
