@TheRedPanda2 My best advice: Don't procrastinate! My ideas have jumped over the span of many years in two books. I started Sly As a Fox in 7th grade and I'm still struggling to finish Alpha (I'm in 12th grade now). Try to write about things you are passionate about, and let real-life examples help mold your stories. Another tip would be to read read read. Reading always gives me the spark of inspiration needed in order to write. Recently I busted out a whole new chapter after rereading the Percy Jackson and the olympian series. I also put a lot of my personality into the characters, which is why in Sly as a Fox Nikki was very sarcastic and silly and in Alpha Nolana is somewhat more mature. Hopefully that was helpful!
